An ISO 14000 EMS provides clients with the necessary management system required for full compliance with all applicable environmental legislation. It also provides clients with an efficient internationally accepted framework to budget and plan environmental initiatives, and fulfill their commitment to environmental responsibility and improvement. ISO standards do not prescribe worldwide environmental performance, and they do not dictate specific environmental goals for pollution prevention.
